INTO THE LIGHT
A COMPLETE RENOVATION OF THE ROOMS FOR THE LIGHT TO FLOW
Our starting point was one of six development houses, built in exposed brick with granite columns.
Many meters distributed in small dark rooms with difficult circulation. The reform consisted of returning the light to one of these charming houses.
The demolition of partitions in their entirety was an indispensable resource when it comes to achieving succession environments, open spaces and fluidity of natural light.
PRACTICAL SPACES DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE BRIGHTNESS
A U-shaped distribution of the cooking zone in the kitchen and work area favors circulation and use.
In addition, by dispensing with tall units on most fronts, the resulting visual breadth is remarkable.
The choice of colors and finishes also gives a lot of play. In this case, the neutrals and whites that predominate allow you to bet on darker furniture. The location of the bedrooms was reserved for the first floor.
All of them with a built-in bathroom, natural light and ventilation.
A CONTEMPORARY STYLE WITH CLASSIC DETAILS
In the living-dining room, it is the distribution of the furniture that sets the tone and differentiates each of the areas.
A large glass door with wooden panels separates, only if desired, the living room from the hall of the house, as well as the kitchen.
We tried that the proposed interior design style was combined with the architecture of the existing facades, thus creating a contemporary style with specific classic touches.
